Our Next Level: SR World Tour (LA)

We are so GRATEFUL to God and all the incredible people we've been able to meet and photograph with our 26 photoshoots this year. Passionate about photography, capturing the celebrations of life, and putting more WOW into what we give our clients, it was definitely time to take it to the next level.

We've blog stalked several amazing photographers but one, in particular, stood out to us. Scott Robert is a world class internationally award winning photographer. Incredibly inspirational and surprisingly easy to reach, we jumped onto his next available World Tour workshop held at Los Angeles, CA.

We invite you to review our new style as we go to the next level and let us know what you think!

1st Venue: Los Angeles Union Station

2nd Venue: Walt Disney Concert Hall

3rd Venue: Santa Monica Pier

4th Venue: Kyoto Grand Hotel and Gardens

Special Thanks and Heartfelt Gratitude to Scott Robert and all the world class photographers we met at the World Tour. From our hearts, thank you for all the wisdom, patience, and inspiration you shared.

To our readers, we'd love to hear what images speak to you the most.

For fellow photographers out there, we highly recommend his amazingly challenging but inspirational World Tour workshops. Join us as we excitedly fly out to his World Tour in Kyoto, Japan in 2010 with the amazing Matthew Jordan Smith: http://scottrobertgallery.com/japan2010.html!

So Scrumptious | Orochon Ramen

So, Linda, a fellow Scott Robert World tour photographer, told us we had to try this REALLY spicy dish they showed on the TV show Man Vs. Food. I think spicy food is awesome so I was down for the challenge.

Restaurant: Orochon Ramen @ Los Angeles, CA

The Contenders
(Note: The photos below were provided by the awesome Linda Tamarpirat.)

#1: Brian

and #2: ...me

The CHALLENGE
Look at the SIZE of the bowl!

Special No. 2 = Ramen bathed in Jalapenos, chili, spice, fire and burning pain. But, MAN, it was DELISH.

The challenge is you have only 30 minutes once they set down the soup to finish the ENTIRE bowl which was HUGE. If you win, you get your photo taken and posted on their "Wall of Bravery"...or so I've heard it called.

The RESULTS

Sad to say, after a very long time of LOTS of tears and sweat, I was only able to finish the ramen, not the soup base. It was insane. But we loved it, didn't we, Brian? Good times.

Totally the place to bring your friends. Watch them cry for pain but strangely delight in a good bowl of SPICY ramen.
